Beyer Opus 83 Presenter / Guest Microphone

DESCRIPTION
The Beyer Opus 83 microphone is starting to find its way into today's modern radio studio. Although it is best suited as a guest microphone, the Opus 83 also performs well as a main presenter microphone and is an ideal replacement for the more expensive studio mics available from Radiquip.

It is supplied with a foam windshield which helps reduce popping and breath sounds.

Requires phantom power.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE OPUS 83 PRESENTER / GUEST MICROPHONE
Q: What is 'Phantom Power' and why does it need it?
A: Many condenser style microphones require the presence of additional power (typically 48V) supplied through the audio cable which it is connected to. Most professional mixing desks can generate phantom power, however Radiquip can supply a suitable power supply unit if required.
