Stagg MC05BK Studio Condenser Microphone

DESCRIPTION
Although not as well known as other brands of studio microphones the Stagg MC05BK is ideally suited for use in news and production studios. Additionally the microphone can be used in the main broadcast studio as a co-presenter's mic, or as a replacement for the more expensive studio mics making it ideal for RSL broadcasters working to a tight budget.

It is supplied with a professional shockmount which helps eliminate unwanted sounds and vibration from nearby sources. A large foam windshield is also supplied with all hires.

Requires 48V phantom power.

Q: What is 'Phantom Power' and why does it need it?
A: Many condenser style microphones require the presence of additional power (typically 48V) supplied through the audio cable which it is connected to. Most professional mixing desks can generate phantom power, however Radiquip can supply a suitable power supply unit if required.
