Soundcraft ES Desk with broadcast modifications

DESCRIPTION
Originally designed as a stereo production desk, the Soundcraft ES is ideal for use in a busy production studio. It boasts 10 stereo channels and 4 microphone channels each with long 100mm faders for ultimate control. As you would expect, each channel has an individual gain control, Pre-fade button as well as the added feature of 'mute controls' on each channel. Each channel is fitted with EQ.

Thanks to some simple modifications, the desk is equally suited for use as a main studio or news studio desk. The 4 microphone channel have been fitted with mic switches which enable the desk to control monitor muting and red light circuits. The layout is clear with sufficiently sized controls making it particularly suited for educational RSL projects.

The mixer is housed in a wooden pod which contains all of the of the cabling to the desks connectors. All of the desks inputs and outputs are presented on two 56 Pin EDAC connectors on the rear of the mixer. Two breakout leads are provided which enable the majority of connections to the desk to be made away from the main presentation area keeping the number of untidy cables to a minimum.

Four microphones can each be connected directly to the rear of the desk along with two additional unbalanced sources if required.
